    Victoria from UK Asked

Hi, we have just booked our 1st trip for 4- 17 Jul 2014 (5 adults, 2 children 5 & 8yrs). Could you please advise the approx. waiting time for popular attractions, and if its possible to get a table at most restaurants without a reservation? Thx

Hello Victoria!   Congratulations on your upcoming holiday to Walt Disney World.   You will be visiting during our Independance Day here in America, so you can expect crowds to be higher than normal during the first portion of your trip.   Many families are out of work and plan holiday vacations around this time.  I visited last July 4th and the crowds were heavy but manageable.   I would recommend booking FastPass+ reservations for your three must do attractions.  If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel make to use  the Extra Magic Hours offered at one of the four theme parks each day.

Dining reservations for some of Disney's most popular restaurants fill up quickly, so I recommend reserving at spot up to 180 days before your holiday.   While you may find a few restaurants that will have a walk up spot, I would not plan on finding an opening at a table service restaurant without a reservation.  Reservations can be made from the UK by calling, 0800 16 90 748  after 12 p.m.

I hope you have a magical vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort.  If you have any other questions, please let me or any of my pals know.

    Have a Disney Day,
