Fireworks at Magic Kingdom

We have booked a trip to Disney World for Jan. 2020. We are interested in the firework dessert party options- however- are strollers allowed? If they aren’t allowed on the terrace for the dessert portion, are they allowed in the Garden Plaza?

Hi, Will! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I just spoke with a Cast Member from the Help Center who said that unfortunately strollers are not allowed in either location during the Fireworks Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace or the Fireworks Dessert Party With Plaza Garden Viewing. She said each location will have its own designated stroller parking area, and that the Cast Member who checks you in will direct you to the proper location.

If you have a little Mouseketeer who might not stay awake during the Happily Ever After fireworks at Magic Kingdom Park, I’d recommend taking a baby carrier to put in your stroller (or if it’s an older child, maybe take a blanket for them to snuggle up in during the Party). If you’re staying at an official Walt Disney World Resort hotel, I’d also recommend heading back to your room the afternoon you plan to enjoy the fireworks to get a good nap in for the little ones. You can also take a midday break at one of the Baby Care Centers located throughout Walt Disney World Resort, too.

I hope you and your family get to experience the Fireworks Dessert Party at Magic Kingdom Park, Will. Please let us know if there are any other questions we can answer for you as you continue planning your Walt Disney World Resort vacation.
