Hi. We booked our tickets and fast passes not knowing that MNSSHP was on that night. We won't be able to stay for the fireworks. Is it better to add park hoppers or pay extra for the party that night for our family? Thanks.

Welcome back to Disney Parks Moms Panel, Maria!

Your question about your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World is a great one, and you really can't go wrong with either choice. However, let's look at the upside to either option.

First, if your family is planning to be in Magic Kingdom all day and a Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is happening that night, you may want to purchase tickets to the party after all. If you have never experienced this great event, trust me, it's an absolute blast! From trick-or-treating, to the Halloween-themed parade Boo-to-You, to ghoulishly-good entertainment and Happy HalloWishes Fireworks Show, the entire park is transformed into a family-friendly, spooktacularly fun event. Be sure to watch the Headless Horseman as he leads the parade, too; you'll likely never see anything like it elsewhere!

If, however, the Halloween fun is not your cup of witch's brew, adding the Park Hopper option may give you some choices that you would prefer instead. For example, Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios may be open late enough that evening, each offering a nighttime firework spectacle of their own. Check the Walt Disney World Resort park calendar and advance to the date of your visit. You'll be able to see if nighttime fun in another park is a better option for your family that evening.

Either way, my crystal ball shows lots of nighttime fun in store for you and your family, Maria! So spectacular!

Be sure to send more questions as you plan, too; we love to help!
