Booked my second Disney Cruise for 7/17, looking into staying at WDW first. In 2014 only certain hotels had bus pick up to cruise terminal, is this the same now? I don't want to board the bus and pick up 5 other resorts. What can you recommend?

    Ahoy Darya –
Welcome back again to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am pleased to hear that you are planning a summer vacation with Disney Cruise Line and a pre-cruise stay at one of the hotels of the Walt Disney World Resort. My crew loves this option because it combines the adventure of Walt Disney World with unparalleled relaxation found at Disney Cruise Line. Ground Transportation to the cruise terminal is available from all of the hotels at the Walt Disney World Resort so you can choose to stay at your choice hotel. My experience with transport on my last few cruises was excellent. Our crew was assigned a pick-up time and then the bus came by at that time and took us directly to the terminal. There has been a trip in the past where the bus stopped at the Yacht Club (we were picked up at the Beach Club), but this stop was very quick and there was no delay. I do not ever recall having to make more than one stop if any. The only downside to transportation from the resort is that the motor coach pick-up is usually late in the morning which put us at the terminal around 11AM-12PM depending on the assigned departure time. My crew much prefers to arrive at the terminal as early as possible for check-in. However, after touring the parks, it does us a lot of good to sleep in the night before the cruise so it works out well for us. Darya, I think you will do fine if you choose your hotel of choice and thanks for visiting with us here!
