    I booked a room for a friend and myself. The Magic Bands are BOTH on my account. How can I transfer it to her account? I’m not transferring it to a new person, it’s the same person, just HER account.

    It looks like your Walt Disney World Resort vacation begins TODAY, and I hope it is filled with so much magic.

    MagicBands unlock so many good things at the Walt Disney World Resort – your resort hotel room door, your admission to the theme parks, PhotoPass photos, and even purchases if you’re staying on site and activate that option. Practical and perfect in every way – that’s what I call an accessory!

    I’m reading your question in two different ways, so I’m going to provide two possibilities that should help. First, if you mean that both MagicBands are assigned to your My Disney Experience profile, you will need to call the My Disney Experience Support Cast Members at (407) 939-4357. If your friend doesn’t have a My Disney Experience profile, have her set one up and provide the email address associated with the account, as the My Disney Experience team will need that to get it sorted out. 

    Since you’re arriving today, just stop by the front desk of your resort hotel, and the Cast Member there can get everything set up the way you want. I’ve had more than a couple of MagicBand issues over the years, and Cast Members at the resorts and Guest Services are able to fix it with a quick wave of their magic wands.

    If you see the two MagicBands, and they are associated to her profile and your profile, but they are being sent to you (or, since you’re arriving today, are going to be picked up by you), that’s exactly the way it works. When there are multiple Guests on a reservation who don’t share an address, the MagicBands are shipped to the reservation holder. I visited with friends last year, and the friend who made the reservation customized our MagicBands for us and then gave them to us when we arrived, since we live in different cities.

    I hope this helps answer your question, Ashley! The phone number I provided is probably your best bet if I didn’t quite get it, as they can listen to what’s going on, look at your reservation, and support you.
