Hi We just booked and put a deposit for our Vacation for Christmas 2015. We area a family of 6 and decided to stay in the Art of Animation. Now am wondering we made the right choice with the resort and if we should include dinning plan?

    Hi Luchieny!

Christmas at Walt Disney World Resort is extra magical, and you really can't go wrong with Disney's Art of Animation Resort.  It's the newest Disney resort and it is AMAZING!  I think you will really enjoy your stay there.  It's especially great for larger families, like yours, because they offer the family suites at reasonable prices.

The dining plan can be great and very economical, but only if you research ahead, make advance dining reservations, and use all of your credits.  We get the dining plan sometimes, and sometimes we don't.  If you are planning to do a lot of character dining, then I think it's a great value.  If you are more focused on attractions, and plan to pack some lunches and pick up counter-service dinners, then you may not find it to be a huge savings.  One thing I love about having the dining package is that it is paid for in advance.  When we don't have it, sometimes it feels like we are constantly shelling out money for food.  I know that you pay for the food both ways, but it seems more relaxing and "magical" when the payment was in the past.  But, that's just my logic!

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions as you prepare for your holiday trip.
