    Kathleen Asked

Hi! We are booked onto the 14th Dec sailing of the Disney Magic with our three boys. We are considering bringing another 13 year old with us (no relation). Is there any special documentation we will need to complete before we go? Many thanks from NZ!

Kathleen, welcome aboard! You must be seen as one of the coolest moms around if you're taking your child's friend on a Disney Cruise with you! How wonderful for your kids and their friend!

Children who sail on one of Disney Cruise Line's ships with adults other than their parents or legal guardians must have the Minor Authorization Form completed. You can find this form on Disney Cruise Line's website. Simply have his parents complete this form to authorize you to have custody of him while on the ship and in port during your vacation. Read more about it on the website, and you can also view and print the form there as well.

Have fun planning this exciting adventure, Kathleen! Stop back if you have any other questions about your cruise before you set sail! I'm happy to help!
