We are booked on the October 2015 Panama Canal cruise. I've read that it is celebrating Halloween on the High Seas as well as Pirate Night. I'm not sure, but it looks like both of these are the same night so do we pack costumes or pirate outfits?

    Ahoy, Dan!

Sailing on the Halloween on the High Seas voyage is my favorite time to sail! My family and I loved this cruise last year. The moment we stepped onboard, I knew that it would be tough to top this Halloween celebration.

There will be a lot to celebrate on each night of your voyage. The great part about sailing on a long voyage is that everything will be spaced out well, and you get to really enjoy all the events and activities each day and evening. You can choose to do as many or as little that you want to do... and you'll have a magical time whichever way you decide to spend your days at sea.

The Pirates IN the Caribbean theme night is a celebration on a night of its own - since there's just way too much swashbuckling fun planned for that night. You can start early and really enjoy the fun that evening. That means you get to pack your pirate gear for one night -- and for another night, you also get to enjoy your Halloween costume to celebrate Halloween! How amazing is that? Everyone will surely enjoy Mickey's Mouse-querade Party that evening. The Halloween festivities planned are spectacular! There will be a few categories for Halloween costume awards -- which one are you going for? Keep your camera handy -- there will surely be lots of photo opportunities.

Wishing you an awesome voyage, Dan!

    Bon voyage!
