Hi moms, i booked a 5 night Western Caribbean cruise on the Disney Wonder for this November, were doing a couples massage, and we will be doing a trip in Mexico. other than that how much money should we bring or a round about ? thanks.

Welcome aboard, Douglas! My family has sailed during November for the past couple of years with Disney Cruise Line, and we look forward to our November sailing again this year. You've chosen a great time to head south to the warm waters of the Caribbean and escape the cold (and maybe even snow!) in Pennsylvania at that time of year!

Once you're on the ship, you won't need to use any cash or credit cards, because the ship operates on a cashless basis, with guests using their Key To The World Cards to charge any purchases which are then charged to your stateroom account. Your Port Adventures, Spa Treatments, and Adult Exclusive Dining, if you make reservations for those, like your couples' massage, will also simply be charged to your account. Your credit card on file will be charged at the end of the cruise to settle your account. We do like to bring some cash onboard, especially singles, to tip the Cast Member who delivers any room service orders that we might place, but besides that, you won't need cash onboard.

Now, when you take your Port Adventure in Mexico, the cost will be charged to your stateroom account, but it's a good idea to have some cash with you as you head off the ship. It's traditional to tip the Port Adventure guides for a job well done. Tips range based on each guest's preference, and it's never expected, but always appreciated. In addition to tips, we like to have a couple hundred dollars in cash when we go into ports, so we can purchase any souvenirs or other must-have's, and you just never know what you might come across that you would like to buy. Just decide on a budget before you go and you'll be all set. In Mexico, keep in mind that you can barter with the artisans who sell their items, and can usually settle on a nice price, so don't be afraid to ask!

Have fun planning your trip, Douglas!
