We just booked a 14 night trip. I read somewhere that you can only book dinning and fast passes for 12 days of a trip at a time. Is that true? If it is, can I book the last 2 days once the first is within the window?

    Hi Aimee!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I am excited to see you have booked a 14-night trip!  Coming from the UK, I usually stay for at least 14 nights and it is lovely to have enough time to visit the parks several times, but also to schedule some relaxation time - pool days, shopping at Disney Springs, or enjoying a slower pace at the Walt Disney World water parks - Disney's Typhoon Lagoon and Disney's Blizzard Beach.  Dining reservations are recommended, and can be made up to 180 days in advance - if you are staying at Disney Resort hotel you can make your reservations for your first 10 days, and then a day at a time thereafter.  For FastPass+ scheduling, for guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel you can make your reservations 60 days in advance, for up to 10 days, and again you would make the remainder each day, one day at a time. The great advantage of this is that you have a good chance of securing the most popular FastPass+ reservations towards days 8, 9 and 10, and then go back to the beginning of your stay and make your other FastPass+ selections.  If you are not staying at Disney Resort hotel you can make your FastPass+ reservations 30 days in advance, one day at a time.

Dining reservations can be made online, or by using your My Disney Experience account.  FastPass+ reservations can also be made using My Disney Experience.  Keep your eye on the Disney Parks Blog for all the latest official news and updates on events that may be happening during your visit.

Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions.  We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation to Walt Disney World.
