Booked for 1/26/13 Magic o/o Galveston...55y/o mom, myself, 13 y/o daughter, and 4 y/o son....torn between dolphin/turtle excursion in Grand Cayman and 7mi beach....as well as submarine tour or beach time in Cozumel...What is best for all parties?

    Ahoy Mindy!
The Disney Magic will be arriving in your home state of Texas in just a few weeks, and I'm thrilled you are one of the lucky ones that will be making magical memories onboard this beauty!  The Western Caribbean itinerary is one of my favorites because of the fabulous ports of call you will be visiting!  Venturing ashore is the best way to immerse yourself into island life, and you can't go wrong with any of the choices Disney Cruise Line offers.  But, I will give you some things to think about so you can make the best decisions for your crew!  I love the idea of interacting with dolphins and then being able to explore the turtle farm.  I am a turtle fan so I have enjoyed visiting this facility when I have been in the Caymans.  The Seven-Mile Beach area is lovely and is great for swimming and relaxing so if you want more down time then I would go with the beach break.  On Cozumel,  I have also done the Seaworld Explorer Semi-Submarine and was fascinated by the spectacular marine life and treasures that we saw underwater.  It might work out to book a beach Port Adventure on one of the islands while trying something different on the other.  It is always good to mix-up your excursions to keep things exciting for the family.
I hope my suggestions help, Mindy!  Please keep me posted if you have any other cruise questions before your January sail away!
    Have a magical day!
