Just booked my hotel for this March! On My Disney Experience, it is showing my three magic bands and encouraging me to customize them. Can I go ahead and do this if we haven't purchased park tickets? What happens when I do get my park tickets then?

    Hi, Courtney!

I just love it when it is time to do some planning for an upcoming magical vacation!

You can feel free to go ahead and personalize your MagicBands.  You do not need to have your tickets attached just yet.  I would suggest that you plan ahead and get your tickets soon.  Once you have them, you can link them onto your account.  When you are about 60 days out from your arrival, you can then begin to schedule your FastPass+ times.  Remember that you cannot schedule FastPass+ times without having valid park admissions linked to your account.  (Let me know if you need help linking your park tickets once you get them.)

Your MagicBand will not only be what you need to enter the parks, it will also be your FastPass+ entry (no more paper tickets), your room key, and you can even charge with it if you add credit card privileges to your reservation.

Have fun choosing from all the fun colors for your MagicBands.  I already have the pink one with a yellow one on order for my next vacation.  Such fun choices to make!  The countdown to your March vacation is on - enjoy!
