We just booked our FP's for the 7pm Electric Parade. Thought that the reserved seating would be in front of the castle(not the town sq. which seems so far away)We were hoping to stay seated and enjoy the Wishes & the fireworks that follow. Any sugg

Hi Sandy! This fall I happened to notice the reserved section for the parades and was surprised it was in the Town Square. But after thinking about it I realized this was actually a good spot to see it all. One of the very best spots to watch parades and the fireworks is at the train station at the end of Main Street and your reserved seating won't be much different.

I suggest you simply stay put in that area at that end of Main Street to watch the fireworks. You will be able to see them from that vantage point and then you will have easy access to the exit of the park if you are planning to return to your resort. When the fireworks end you will have a throng of people heading out and the waits for buses and monorails and boats will get very long. Because the fireworks are up in the sky you can see them from many locations and the castle is directly in front of you to still enjoy the changing light shows it provides.

For the most part we don't get reserved areas for the parades and fireworks. Obviously during busy times this is a perk but we generally try to head to the end of Main Street by Tony's and find a curb spot there. We have always been able to find good spots about 30-40 minutes before it begins. Then we situate ourselves for center viewing of the fireworks and keep one or two of us there to secure the spot while the rest of the group hits stores or restrooms. Once the fireworks are over we are steps away from the exit and first on buses, boats, and monorails making it easy and home in bed for a good nights sleep!
