Hi Moms! We just booked our flights for our upcoming trip, but our plane lands at 4:20pm (taking the Magical Express). We are staying at WLV and we wanted to book an ADR at the WL for 6:30pm...is that pushing it? Suggestions?

    Welcome Back!

It's great to see you again, Michelle. Your countdown clock is ticking right down!

I generally recommend that Guests begin planning Advance Dining Reservations or FastPass+ Selections beginning three hours after your scheduled flight landing. This normally leaves plenty of time in case you are one of the first lucky Guests to claim a comfortable, blue seat on Disney's Magical Express and you get to watch quite a bit of the trivia video as you wait for the motor coach to fill.

I think this time frame is a bit of a squeeze. Though schedules and routes are subject to change, it has been my experience that Disney's Wilderness Lodge and the Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge are often the third stop for the Magic Kingdom Resort Area motor coach route. For many of my vacations, I have noticed that Disney's Magical Express route has included a stop at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort followed by Disney's Grand Floridian Resort, then Disney's Wilderness Lodge, and ending at Disney's Contemporary Resort

If you are prepared to head straight to you Disney Vacation Club Villa to drop off your items go directly to your Advance Dining Reservation, you could make it work. That said, my suggestion is to remember that travel days can be hectic! Try to push that dinner reservation to 7 P.M. or 7:15 P.M for more peace of mind. I would rather have a few extra minutes to relax in one of the high-backed chairs in the lobby than to stress at the very beginning of a trip. This is your vacation!

    Wishing you many magical memories,

"To all who come to this happy place, welcome." I am the lucky wife to my brave Prince and a stay-at-home mom to two bold and brilliant little girls; one a Jedi Padawan and the other a Princess. Joining the Disney Vacation Club meant that our family could travel to a "World of yesterday, tomorrow, and fantasy" as often as we could sneak away, so we do! I would be thrilled to sprinkle a little Pixie Dust on your next unforgettable vacation. Learn More About Sally
