Hello! Booked our first trip to Disney World! I am wondering if in-room dining is covered by the Dining Plan?

    Hi Byanka!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Sometimes after a long day at the parks it is very nice just to relax in your Resort hotel room and order some delicious food to be delivered to you!   Disney Resorts Private Dining is covered by the Disney Dining Plan and the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan, and usually requires two Table-Service Meals for each meal ordered.  You can see the full list of food options available in the menu in your Resort hotel room. However, if you are ordering a Pizza through the Private Dining Department the dining plan requirements are slightly different.  At Deluxe Disney Resort hotels each pizza delivery meal will include one pizza entree, two drinks (non-alcoholic, or alcoholic for guests of ages 21 and over), and two desserts.  A pizza is considered two meals so therefore in this instance will require four Adult Table-Service Meals for each Pizza Delivery through Private Dining.   If you are staying at a Value or Moderate Resort hotel, you may order a pizza through the Pizza Delivery Department, and you will need to redeem two Adult Table-Service meals from your dining plan entitlement.  Each Pizza Delivery meal includes one pizza entree, two drinks and two desserts.

If you wish to see how many dining plan entitlements you will need for each restaurant across Walt Disney World, you can see all the details on this restaurant list.  For each location, look to the right-hand side of the page and click on 'Some Dining Plans Accepted'.

Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions.  We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation to Walt Disney World.
