I just booked our first trip to Disney! We are going with our five year old girl. Today I booked the Royal Table for 8:05am on 3/1/12. We are staying at Port Orleans. Do you suggest we drive to MK or take bus? What time should we get on bus?

Hi Erin! Congratulations on your family's first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort and on securing such a great Advanced Dining Reservation (ADR)! Cinderella's Royal Table (CRT) is my family's favorite Disney Character Dining experience and a much coveted one by most. Your little princess will absolutely love meeting Disney Royalty! You should not have any problems making it to your early morning ADR. "Character Breakfast" buses start running about thirty minutes prior to the earliest reservation time. Once you arrive at Disney's Port Orleans Resort (POR) explain to the Cast Member at the front desk that you have an early morning ADR at CRT. S/he will be happy to tell you where you can catch the "Character Breakfast" bus going to Magic Kingdom (MK). Alternatively, you can either drive, or take a taxi cab to your breakfast reservation directly from POR to MK. If relying on Disney's transportation system, be sure to allow at least one hour for travel time. Here's a bonus. MK opens at 8:00 a.m. that morning, but your family will be allowed to enter the theme park earlier for your ADR at CRT. Therefore, you'll be able to take pictures of a virtually empty Main Street U.S.A. and Cinderella's Castle without crowds in the background! Don't forget to bring your ADR Confirmation Number to give to the Cast Member at the early entry turnstile. I would recommend arriving at least twenty minutes prior to your reservation time. By the way when you finally meet Cinderella and her Princess Friends, be sure to say "Hola" from me! Please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you. Enjoy a most memorable first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
