    Hannah from England Asked

we are booked on our first cruise and would like to try the royal princess tea. My daughter will be 2 years and 11 months can she participate? thank you!

Welcome aboard, Hannah! The Royal Court Royal Tea Party is a very special experience! My daughter adored her time with the Royal Tea Hostess and Royal Pastry Chef. These two are so much fun! The party begins with each guest being announced as they enter the royal tea, which makes the young princesses feel like royalty right from the start. The special visits from a real Disney princess or two toward the end of the party are just the icing on the cake!

I'm sorry to say that guests must be at least three years old for parents to be able to book this experience. The online system will not even give you the option to book your daughter since she's outside the age range. However, it wouldn't hurt to stop by Guest Services once you're onboard the ship to ask about the possibility of participating, since she is so close to the age. Sometimes the party books up before the cruise begins, but often there are extra spots available, and while I can't guarantee they'd allow her, it certainly wouldn't hurt to ask once you're on the ship.

The good news is that whether you enjoy this experience or not, there are plenty of other opportunities to meet your favorite Disney Princesses while onboard. The Princess Gathering can be pre-booked during online check-in. During this event, four or five Disney princesses arrive in the atrium to greet guests. This has always been a favorite of my daughter! Additionally, princesses and other characters are out around the ship every day for meet and greets that do not require advanced reservations. Check the schedule each day in your Disney Cruise Line Navigator App and then show up to meet your favorites!

    Have fun planning, Hannah!
