Hi, I booked our first cruise for April 4, 2014 online directly through Disney site. When I booked my cruise, I elected the fly in a day ahead and get a complimentary stay at a non-Disney hotel option (ground transportation included). Do you know what hot

Welcome aboard, Michelle! Congratulations on booking your very first cruise with Disney! Your family is in store for an amazing vacation, and if you're anything like me, after sailing once with Disney Cruise Line, you'll want to go back for more!

Disney Cruise Line has a relationship with the Hyatt Regency at the Orlando International Airport, so most likely this is the hotel in which you'll be staying the night before your cruise. You can contact Disney Cruise Line at 800-951-3532 and give them your reservation number to confirm these details.

Since the Hyatt is right in the airport, it is very convenient for those flying in the night before. You can do a bit of shopping in the airport, (there is a nice Disney store there!) and enjoy a relaxing evening. Then, the next morning, you can head down to the Disney Cruise Line ground transportation (same area as Disney's Magical Express for the Disney resorts) and head out to Port Canaveral. Since the Hyatt works with Disney Cruise Line, you'll receive a note in your room the night before letting you know when and where to take your luggage marked with your Disney Cruise Line tags. It couldn't be easier, Michelle!

Please let me know if I can help with anything else before you set sail in the spring! Happy planning!
