We just booked out first "big" family trip to WDW. This time we are bringing Grandma, so we opted for a Nemo suite at the new AOA. We are arriving on Jan. 2, 2013. Will the pools be open? What is the weather like? Is it really warm enough to

The whole family, including Grandma, will so enjoy Disney's Art of Animation Resort. This bold, shiny new resort will still be decorated for Christmas when you arrive. All three generations can take advantage of the mini kitchen with a fridge and microwave and two bathrooms in your family suite.

The Big Blue Pool will be open in January and heated to 80 degrees. Though you will only find me in a hot tub during the winter, my children have happily swam in WDW pools in January. Typically the highs are in the upper 60s but cold snaps and warm days in the 70s are not unheard of. Do bring a jacket for cooler nights.

Hope your entire family has a magical vacation! Please contact me if you have any additional questions.
