Hello! I have booked a few character dining reservations, including 2 at Star Wars Weekends in May 2015. How much time should we allot for these character meals?

    Diane:

Character Dining at Disney allows your child--or you--to interact with Disney and even Star Wars characters at Disney's Hollywood Studios without the long lines. I usually give myself about 1.5 hours to enjoy a Character Meal. This allows for a few minutes to get seated along with photos. I have found that at the restaurants that serve a buffet, like Crystal Palace, Hollywood & Vine, and Chef Mickey's, I'm more in control of my time and the meal takes less time. However, at busy times, you may have a wait, so allowing an extra 15 minutes would be prudent.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
