I am all booked for Disney World from Dec. 1st to the 11th. My children aged 9, 6, 4 are getting very excited! Just wondering about the candelight procession, is this something that my children will enjoy, or is it more geared toward adults? Thanks!

    Hi Mike!

You are visiting Walt Disney World during a wonderful time of year! Those first two weeks of December offer the best of both world because the crowds are low, but you get to experience the holiday decorations!

Honestly, the Candlelight Processional is more geared towards adults. Some kids may enjoy it, but it is really more enjoyable for adults. I experienced this for the first time last year and I was blown away by the magical experience. The speaker when I visited was Neil Patrick Harris, and I was amazed by the power of his performance. The music was beautiful and it truly gave me the Christmas spirit.

You may want to consider having an evening at Epcot with you and your spouse, while your children enjoy the Kids Nite Out program or Kids Club. You can enjoy a romantic dinner at Le Cellier in the World Showcase Canada Pavillion and then the show.

I hope you have a magical vacation!

    Magically,
    Stacy
