    Patricia from LA Asked

We are booked for DIsney next April and have the Dining plan. If I have an extra DP credit, can one of my family members use that credit since they will have exhausted all of theirs?

It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Patricia!

My family loves using the Disney Dining Plan when we're on vacation because it truly makes vacation planning so easy for us and it makes our days at Walt Disney World Resort run really smoothly. The extra peace of mind of having all of our meals taken care of in advance makes it so that I can relax and fully enjoy our trip!

When you check-in to your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, your family's entire balance of Dining Plan credits is made available to use at your convenience. For instance, if you were a family of four staying for five nights using the Disney Dining Plan, you would have 20 Table-Service credits, 20 Quick-Service credits, and 40 Snack credits available to use whenever you want from the moment you check-in. Those credits can be used in any way you like among the people staying in your room with you. If you end up with an extra credit, it can be used by anyone who is staying in your room with you, but not by someone who isn't part of your travel party. Dining Plan credits aren't assigned to individual guests, so anyone with access to them on their MagicBand can use them at their leisure with no switching or assigning required. Easy as pie!

I hope this answers your question, Patricia, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation.
