Just booked a Dec. vacation staying at Port Orleans Riverside for 3 adults, 2 children (13,6) . What the rooms are like that fit a family of five?

    Hi, Janet!

You must be so excited about visiting the Walt Disney World Resort in December! You've picked one of my all-time favorite times of the year because the Christmas decorations are like nothing you've ever seen before in your life!

The Alligator Bayou rooms at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside have a fold-down Murphy bed over the banquette bench seat that's against the wall at the foot of the two queen beds in the room. These beds are about 63" X 30" and are suitable for small adults under about 5'3" and children. There is a great diagram of the room layout if you go to portorleans.org and look under rooms and prices.

Thanks so much for sending your question into the Moms Panel, Janet! If we can help with any other questions as you start to plan the details of your vacation, please don't hesitate to come back!

Wishing you Pixie Dusted vacation planning!
