Hi, I booked through DCL a one night pre-cruise and post-cruise stay at Pop Century w/ transfers through DCL. Do I simply put my Disney Luggage tags on my checked luggage before my flight. The bags will then be transferred to Room and Cruise? Then Back?

    Ahoy, Adrian!

My family finds it hard to visit the Orlando area for a Disney Cruise without spending a little time at the Walt Disney World Resort, so I love your plans to start and end your magical vacation at Disney's Pop Century Resort! And you are smart to reserve Disney Cruise Line ground transportation so they can take care of all the details of getting to the port and back.

Since you are staying at a Disney resort, you should receive luggage tags for Disney's Magical Express. These tags allow you to forego baggage claim at the Orlando Airport and go straight to check-in for Disney's Magical Express on Side B, Level 1, and your bags will arrive in your resort room up to three hours after your flight's arrival. (If your flight lands after 10:00 p.m., you will need to claim your own bags to take with you on the motor coach to the resort.) The cruise tags will need to be placed on your luggage before 8:00 a.m. the following morning because all luggage is collected from resort rooms around that time. You do not need to be present to have your luggage picked up, but all bags going to the port will need to have a cruise luggage tag attached. All your bags will magically appear outside your stateroom door later on that afternoon. You'll receive a letter at your resort either at check-in or in your room with specific instructions including your pick-up time (usually late morning to early afternoon.)

Once you've had the time of your life with Captain Mickey, your bags will be transferred back to Disney's Pop Century for you. On the last night of your cruise, you'll place new luggage tags given to you by your stateroom host/hostess on your bags and place them outside your door by 10:30 p.m. The next time you'll see them is at your resort! Your motor coach will leave Port Canaveral at 9:00 a.m.

I hope this is helps, Adrian!
