We have booked our cruise for the Wonder Ship but really wanted the Dream, however it booked up, is there a possbility they would get an opening and can we switch?

    Ahoy Tabby!
Thanks so much for writing back to the Moms Panel!  If a stateroom opens up on the Disney Dream you can switch from the Disney Wonder, but you will need to pay the price difference if the Dream cruise is more.  If you booked through Disney Cruise Line, I would check the website often to see if you can find stateroom availability for your particular sail date.  Final payment is due 75 days prior to sailing so you may find some openings at that time if you can wait that long and if you can book it before your final payment for the Wonder is due.
If you aren't able to switch, I know your family will have an amazing time sailing on the Disney Wonder!  All the ships have the same classic oceanliner feel with a touch of Disney whimsy.  They offer phenomenal service fleetwide and all your favorite Disney pals will be onboard to make sure your crew has a magical time on the high seas!  The programming for all ages is similar and the entertainment can't be beat!
While you are on your Disney Wonder I suggest taking advantage of the onboard booking benefits which can include a future cruise discount, a reduced deposit, and a shipboard credit for that next cruise. It will give you something to look forward when you have to disembark the vessel, and it will mean "See Ya Real Soon" instead of goodbye for your family!
Good luck with your cruise plans, Tabby!  I hope you will continue to use the Moms Panel as you think of any additional questions!  We are always happy to help!
    Have a magical day!
