    Marquitta from NY Asked

I booked a cruise for November and just realized it states to San Juan and don't look like it brings us back to the original port. Is that the same for all the cruises?

    Hi there, Marquitta!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  I am so glad you sailed by with your question about your upcoming Disney Cruise Line vacation!  While I love sailing the high seas with Captain Mickey any chance I get, I sure do love the Very Merrytime cruises!  It’s the perfect way to get into the holiday spirit with the already beautiful ship decorated and extra holiday-themed activities onboard!  So much fun and so many opportunities to make some magical memories!

It appEARs that you have booked a repositioning voyage – one that departs from New York and ends in San Juan, Puerto Rico.  Throughout the year some of the Disney Cruise Line ships “reposition” for a different set of itineraries before “repositioning” once again.  My family loves repositioning voyages because it seems like an extra treat to start your voyage in one place and end in another!  Especially if you have a few days you can add on to the start or end (or both!) to explore the destination!  Not all Disney Cruise Line voyages are like this – most do begin and end at the same port, but the occasional repositioning voyage is mixed into the itineraries!
If this no longer works into your travel plans, contact Disney Cruise Line at (800) 951-3532 or your travel agent who assisted you in making this reservation to adjust.  You can find the Disney Magic departing from New York in September, October and November of 2019 and there are lots of great itineraries to choose from during those months!

Please come back with any other planning questions you may have!
