Mom And Daughter Magic Kingdom Cinderella's Castle

I have booked CRT and Chef Mickey's for my daughter, but I would like to book 2 sit down dinner meals that my daughter, her grand-parents and I would enjoy as well. Do you have any suggestions. Would the Coral Reef be a good place to go?

The Coral Reef is a perfect place for a multi-generational meal. There are plenty of "grown up" food options, as well as some great choices for the kids. There is an aquarium there that takes up an entire wall of the restaurant. This is fascinating to watch at any age. I find it very relaxing to gaze at the fish while sipping a drink and waiting for my meal.

Another interesting choice would be the Boma buffet at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. There are some unique and wonderful dishes that I have never experienced anywhere else. As I heard one of the Boma chefs say, the African food there is spiced but not spicy. I just found it to be delicious. Much of the adult food is likely to be new to many people in your group and I've always found that sharing new foods can be a great conversation starter. Plus, they also have old standby kid favorites like pasta and chicken. The Animal Kingdom Lodge is a fascinating building to explore after your meal. The grown-ups could enjoy learning about the African artifacts decorating the Lodge, while the kids get to be up-close-and-personal with some real animals.

A fun place in a different theme park would be the 50s Prime Time Cafe at Disney's Hollywood Studios. The menu is classic American comfort food. The decor is classic American kitchen circa the mid-1950s. As interactive entertainment, all the cast member servers treat you like family (in a silly and exaggerated way). That means they'll yell at you to get your elbows off the table and remind you to watch your manners. This is an incredibly funny experience for the kids. Once, our waitress made my husband go stand in the corner because he forgot to say "please" for something. My girls still talk about this years later. They LOVED it. (And the food is yummy too.)
