Hello. We have booked a character breakfast for the first time. How exactly does this work? Our reservation is for before the park opens. Do the characters come to the table at a certain time? Do we have to wait for them if we have booked fastpasses?

    Hello, Robert!

My family loves to book an early character breakfast before park opening so we can get a few pictures of an empty park with our favorite theme park icons. At character dining experiences, characters visit each table stopping for autographs and photos with a specific rotation around the restaurant, so they are sure to visit every Guest. If you are at the buffet while a character visits your table, then let your server know so they can direct them back to your table. Although Disney PhotoPass Service photographers are usually on hand for a photo before you are seated, plan to bring your own camera to capture photos as not all characters have a photographer with them.

The FastPass+ system is not used at character dining. However, select characters offer FastPass+ and you to reserve up to three experiences per day in one theme park before your visit. For example, after a breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table, you can reserve a time to visit Enchanted Tales with Belle, Mad Tea Party and then meet Ariel at Her Grotto. FastPass+ is an excellent way to secure your favorite attractions.

I hope this helps. Please visit us again with other questions you may have.
