I would like to book a standard room at Animal Kingdom Lodge when free dining released later this month. How can I make sure I get a bunk bed room? Thank you.

    Hi Michael!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

We are all celebrating the announcement of free dining for UK Guests which will be available with bookings made on, or later than, April 25th, for select dates throughout 2020. Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge Resort is such a unique place to stay with a stunning lobby and equally stunning views over the savannah. There is no other place like it.  As this is one of the Disney Deluxe Resort hotels, you would be entitled to receive a free Disney Dining Plan.  This would provide per Guest, per night of stay, one Quick-Service Meal, one Table-Service Meal, two Snacks and a refillable drink mug, which can be refilled at the beverage stations at any Disney Resort hotel, with hot drinks such as tea, coffee, and hot chocolate, and a selection of fountain drinks.  To make your reservation to ensure you can request bunk beds (one queen bed, and bunk beds) I recommend that you call the Walt Disney Travel Company UK as soon as you can after April 25th, in order to qualify for your free dining offer.   If there is no additional charge for bunk beds in a Standard Room, they will put bunk beds as a request on your booking.  This is not guaranteed, but they will do their best to honour your request. I definitely recommend that you call them, rather than book this online, as you can discuss all the bunk bed options available to you.  They may be able to offer you a different view (Pool View, or Savannah View) with bunk beds as a guaranteed option.  The freephone number from the UK is 0800 169 0730.

Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions.  We will be happy to help you plan your magical holiday to Walt Disney World.
