How do you book a split stay? Thinking of doing 2 resorts for our honeymoon to help with budget.

Hi Amanda! CONGRATULATIONS on your wedding! I cannot think of a more magical way to celebrate your honeymoon!

We have booked split stays many times. It's a great way to not only help with our budget but also to experience multiple Resort hotels! So excited for you!

You will book your reservations separately. If you are considering booking packages, keep in mind that packages require a minimum of 2 days theme park tickets. You will also need to pay attention to your dining plan entitlements to ensure you use all of your entitlements by midnight the day of your package reservation checkout date. If you are not reserving packages, you will simply book your Resort hotel room reservations and purchase your theme park tickets.

If your reservations are consecutive, you can make your FastPass+ selections at the 60 day mark from your initial reservation. Dining can be booked 180 days from your arrival date for each reservation.

Once you arrive, transferring from one Resort hotel to the next is very easy! On the day of your transfer, you can simply pack your bags and call Bell Services. Let them know you are transferring to a new Resort hotel. A Cast Member will come to your room and together, you will count your bags. The Cast Member will give you a claim check and then you are free to go enjoy yourselves! Be sure you keep anything with you that you will need throughout the day because it will take a few hours for your luggage to be delivered to your new Resort hotel. When you arrive at the new Resort hotel, you will call Bell Services, give them your baggage claim number and they will bring your items to you.

I'm so excited for you!! Once again, congratulations!!! Please let me know if you have any other questions as you plan your magical Walt Disney World Resort HONEYMOON vacation!
