Family planning a trip

We want to book Space Mtn as a FP, but my 5-year old won't be riding and neither will my mom. Can my husband and I use their Space Mtn FP if I book all 4 of us? We want to ride everything else the same, just not this ride.

Hi, Marcy! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks so much for stopping by with your question. I love the FastPass+ system and how it helps make our days in the theme parks so easy! I can hop on the My Disney Experience mobile app well in advance of our trip and make FastPass+ selections for our favorite attractions. Before I make those selections, I always sit down with my family (especially my kids!) and have them make a list of their three most important experiences. When that magical FastPass+ selection day arrives, I know exactly what choices to make.

Marcy, you have the option to make your Disney day exactly as magical as you and everyone else in your group would like it to be. Go ahead and make the FastPass+ selections for the remainder of your day and include everyone in the group. When you check for Space Mountain FastPass+ availability, simply click on only those people in your group that plan to ride it. Once you select a time and confirm it, make another FastPass+ selection for a different attraction for your child and your mom. You can look for one that has a similar time of use at a nearby attraction. I have the exact same problem in my house, as my older daughter is not a fan of Space Mountain. I usually get a FastPass+ for Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin for her and my husband while little sister and I zip through the dark on Space Mountain. Since they are right across from each other in Tomorrowland, it makes splitting up easy and everyone still gets to have their own kind of fun.

I hope this information helps you FastPass+ your way to a magical Disney day! Thanks again for stopping by and please let us know if you have any other questions!
