Hi I book my reservation for my trip in sept. we are using the dining plan. When making the reservations I had to hold them on my credit card. Who do I make sure my credit card isn't charged when we get to the resturant

Hi, Sara! There are many restaurants at Walt Disney World that require a credit card to hold the reservation regardless of how you will actually pay for the meal.  You are providing that credit card as a guarantee.  If you don't show up for your Advance Dining Reservation, it will be charged.  When you arrive for the meal, you can pay for it using any method you prefer.  You could choose to pay cash, use a different credit card, pay with traveler's checks, redeem Disney Dollars or Disney Gift Cards, or, like in your case, utilize Disney Dining Plan credits. Simply tell the Cast Member serving you how you'd like to make your payment. Since you want to use your Disney Dining Plan instead of your credit card, the Cast Member will deduct the Disney Dining Plan credits from your entitlements. Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
