If I book a reservation for lunch 180 days prior to my arrival and then try to book a fast pass at the same time 90 days prior, will it allow me? I am willing to reschedule my food reservation if it means I can get the fast pass ride that I want scheduled

    Hi Stella,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am delighted to greet a fellow North Carolinian!

I am also thrilled to see you coordinating your advanced dining reservations and FastPass+ selections! When I have booked a FastPass+ selection within the same time window as an advanced dining reservation, the system has given me a reminder message that I have other plans within the same time window. I have still been able to make the FastPass+ selection, but it is a nice warning to double check those dining reservations to be sure we can make it work.

With a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel reservation, guests can make FastPass+ selections 60 days prior to arrival. With a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel Club-Level room, guests can enjoy access to Disney Signature Services and additional assistance with FastPass+, VIP Tour, and Enchanting Extras planning.

On our last trip, for example, I had to make a FastPass+ selection for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train at a time that overlapped with our dinner reservation at Be Our Guest Restaurant. Since it was the week of Christmas, it would have been very difficult for me to modify either. So, we had an hour and 30 minutes to dine and that left us 15 minutes to get to Seven Dwarfs Mine Train before our FastPass+ window expired. Given that the ride is so close to the restaurant, I was fairly certain that we could make and we did!

Stella, as you plan, also carefully consider your transit time between locations, including how long it will take you to get through security, into the park and to a restaurant when trying to get to a dining reservation. This kind of planning is especially important at Epcot when restaurants can be on the other side of the park, seemingly miles away from the main park entrance. For this reason, we prefer to stay at resort hotels that are within walking distance to Magic Kingdom or Epcot to cut down on our transit time!

Sending you lots of FastPass+ planning pixie dust!

    Magic and memories,
