We want to book for Oct 2021 over the Anniversary of Park opening. We will have a new baby about 18 months old and would like to inquire about getting adjoining rooms Can you advise which resorts offer adjoining rooms?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Barb! I am so happy you stopped by.

Barb, I have a little one who will be turning 18 months in October, as well, so I completely understand the need for separate sleep spaces. Luckily Walt Disney World Resort has tons of ways to accommodate families like ours.

The majority of Walt Disney World Resorts have adjoining rooms; however, I must tell you is that while you can request connecting rooms, the request is not guaranteed, so I wanted to let you know about a couple of alternative options that my family has used in the past.

Barb, both Disney's Art of Animation Resort and Disney's All-Star Music Resort offer Family Suites. These suites include two full bathrooms, a kitchenette, and have a master bedroom with a door, in addition to two other sleeping spaces. Your little one would absolutely love the Big Blue Pool at Disney's Art of Animation Resort. You will also have access to the Disney Skyliner, making park transportation a breeze, as you will not have to collapse your stroller to get to Disney's Hollywood Studios or EPCOT.

Additionally, did you know there are several other resorts with one-, two-, and three-bedroom suites? These Deluxe Villa Resorts will give you all of the space to spread out with all of the benefits of a Deluxe Resort accommodation. This is the option that my family personally uses, as my husband and I love to put the kids to bed and relax on our balcony. Personally, I recommend Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Jambo House, but I have also heard amazing things about Disney's Old Key West Resort

I hope that this helped you make your resort decision, Barb. I just know that you will have the most magical time. While you are here, don't forget to check out the Baby Care Centers located in each park, where you will find sanitary changing tables, high chairs, and a shop stocked with everything baby and mom could need!

Please come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if we can help in your planning adventure!

    See you real soon!
