    Marianne Asked

If I book lunch or dinner and the weather isn't great that day can I rebook without charges?

    Hi Marianne!

It is not unheard of for the weather in Walt Disney World to be somewhat uncooperative.  It has a tendency to rain periodically, so guests keep a poncho handy.  If the weather is not favorable prior to a planned dining experience, you need to make sure that you alert Disney dining as soon as possible.  You are required to cancel your dining reservations 24 hours in advance or you will be charged the $10 per person guarantee.

A new reservation cancellation policy went into effect on October 26, 2011 and includes many of the Signature dining restaurants as well as some of the more popular Table service restaurants.   In the event that you are a no-show, the penalty for the credit card guarantee booking is $10 per person reserved. In the event that you cannot make your reservation for the pre-payment reservation, the full cost per person will be assessed.  Even if you decide to rebook your reservation, you will be charged the penalty.

There are those dining experience that do no require a credit card guarantee and are not upheld to the cancellation policy.  You will a penalty charge be held in the event that you cannot attend. A full list of these restaurants can be found at the independent website Allears.net.

Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!
