How do you book your kids into the kids clubs? We have a 3 and 5 year old and want to make sure they are signed up.

Welcome aboard, David! At three and five years old, your kids have so much to look forward to enjoying in the Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab onboard.

When you begin your online check-in, 75 days prior to sailing for new Disney Cruise Line guests, you'll register your children for the Youth Clubs at that point. Then, when you arrive at port, simply stop by the Youth Club desk in the port terminal to pick up their Mickey Bands which will give them access to the clubs. In addition, if the line looks long to pick up Mickey Bands in the terminal, skip it and just head to the clubs onboard where you can easily (and more quickly usually) pick up their bands that first day.

Once they have their bands, they are all set. No need to schedule time in the clubs, as you can simply show up to drop them off whenever they feel like it, or whenever you want to sneak away for some adult time. Each day, you'll receive a Personal Navigator which lists the activities and events around the ship, including those in the Youth Clubs, so you can plan your day and let the kids hang out in the clubs when their favorite activities are taking place. Counselors there can reach you on your Wave Phone (each stateroom comes with two - they are like cell phones for use onboard), so no need to keep checking back on the kids. If your kids want to leave or there is any other problem, the counselors will call or text your Wave Phone to let you know. It couldn't be easier!

Do note that your three-year old must be fully potty trained in order to be in the Oceaneer Club or Lab during secured programming, as counselors there do not help in the restrooms. If he or she isn't quite there yet, you will need to pre-reserve time for your little one in the nursery onboard, which carries an hourly fee. Hopefully potty training is already checked off the list so he or she can have even more fun in the clubs with his or her older sibling.

Have fun planning, David! Enjoy your cruise!
