Can you book fastpass with old "Super Duper 5 Day passes?" The tickets have no exp. and still have days left. We aren't able to exchange them for new tickets until we get to the park. I wanted to book fastpasses in advance? Am I out of luck?

    Hi, Lauren!

Wow -  I am super impressed that you have kept track of your Walt Disney World theme park tickets that date back to the early 90's! That is truly some magic taking place in your home! I did some research, and it looks like the price for that 5 day ticket probably cost around $175 - how crazy is that? This dates back to Pleasure Island, Discovery Island, and it is hard to imagine, but no Animal Kingdom! Lots of changes over the years for sure.

As far as FastPass+ selections, you need to have theme park tickets linked to your My Disney Experience account in order to book ahead. If I were planning this, I would buy completely new tickets for your upcoming trip and get your FastPass+ selected. While on your vacation, take your Super Duper tickets to Guest Services to exchange for new ones that you can save for your next vacation. Hey, you've waited 25+ years, what's a few more! I would "exchange" the tickets, so if you have 3 days remaining, your new ticket would have 3 days of park admission. If you use the old tickets to "upgrade" you only get the value of what you paid, which will be minimal. Double check with the Cast Member when making the transaction, but your exchanged tickets will probably not be valid at Disney's Animal Kingdom since that park was not built yet and not included on your Super Duper ticket.

If you plan to go another route, you can always call (407)939-1936 to see what options are for your amazing retro-tickets. Thanks for this visit to yester-year with ticket nostalgia!
