About to book Disney Dream for March. We have a 2 year old and 4 year old. I know the 4 year old will have plenty of activities, not sure for my 2 year old other than splash pad?  Concerns about second seating also, eating at 8pm will not work for us.

    Welcome back, Holly!

Besides fun in It's A Small World Nursery, when mom and dad want a night out without the kids, there are so many other family activities the tiniest cruisers can take part in when sailing with Disney. Check out your Personal Navigator each day, or the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App. You'll see activities pretty much every morning for toddlers, like Wake Up With Disney Junior, Puzzle Time with Mickey and Friends, Jack Jack's Diaper Dash, and many more! A few of these happen during Open House hours in the Oceaneer Club, when parents and children can play there together, no matter their age, since normally the club is for 3-12 year-olds.

Since kids must be fully potty-trained to go in the pools onboard, Disney has created Nemo's Reef, a super splash area for toddlers and their parents to enjoy. I miss the days my kids were young enough to play there, because I loved joining them in the pop geysers and bubbling jets. There's also a toddler-sized Mr. Ray stingray slide in that area. Just big enough for a little guy holding mom or dad's hand! Your whole family may enjoy playing mini golf together, even the littlest cruiser in your bunch. And of course, when you arrive at Castaway Cay, there are character dance parties, crab races, a water splash area, and the biggest and best sandbox out there - Castaway Cay's Family Beach!

If you'd like to request the main dining time instead of second seating, ask for this as you book. If that seating is already full, you can be put on a waiting list, and possibly be moved before you sail. Finally, once you board, if you're still on second seating, swing by the Dining Reservation Changes event that first day, usually held in Royal Palace, where dining managers can possibly help you change seatings.

Have fun as you get ready to plan this magical voyage, Holly!
