When you get on the boat you can add money to your key card? Does it have to be cash, can you use a rewards redemption card from the credit card and/or a gift card?

Welcome back aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Robyn!

I am glad you sailed back with another great question about your high seas adventure.  I bet the excitement is growing with your pirate crew as your countdown is getting smaller each day!

Thankfully there is no need to pack your treasure chest full of gold doubloons in your luggage.  The accepted currency onboard includes cash, credit card, American Express-issued Travelers Cheques (in US currency) or Disney Dollars.

I often use my reward dollars earned from our Disney Premier Visa card to pay for our stateroom account charges.  You can even contact Disney Cruise Line prior to your arrival to apply reward dollars or a gift card balance to your stateroom account.  Once onboard, you can also visit the Guest Services Desk (Deck 3, Midship) to settle any charges to your stateroom account prior to your debarkation day using these payment methods.

Be sure to download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App prior to your sailing to unlock all of your cruise information right on your personal device.  This is a great way to monitor your stateroom account to ensure scurvy pirates have not partied with your Key to the World Card!

Cruise back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any additional questions about your epic pirate adventure with Captain Mickey!

    "Sea" ya real soon!  Angie
