We have a Boardwalk/Bay Lake split stay for December. How should we determine which parks we visit while at each resort. I have a hard time not visiting MK first but love being able to walk to Epcot/HS.

Hello Brooke and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel,

Like you, we have a trip coming up with a split stay with one resort near Epcot and the other near the Magic Kingdom. We plan to visit Disney's Hollywood Studios and Epcot while staying within easy walking and boating distance. We will save our visits to the Magic Kingdom until we are staying nearby.

For my family, vacation time is precious time, and we want to get the most value out of every moment. So, the less time we are on buses, the better (at least in our opinion). With the plan to attend parks that are near, the only bus rides we will utilize are to Disney's Animal Kingdom. Otherwise, we can enjoy leisurely walks and boat rides.

However you decide to plan your days, I am sure that you will have a fantastic time visiting the Walt Disney World Resort during "the most wonderful time of the year," Christmas!  If visiting the Magic Kingdom early in your vacation is essential, you may want to consider adding Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party to your itinerary- there is a party scheduled on your arrival day!

    See ya real soon,
    Anne
