Going to the Boardwalk in August with 5 small grand children. Is it a walk-in pool? What kind of life jackets or floation devices do they allow? Do they have them available ?

    Hi Kathleen,

I love the Boardwalk! It was my home away from home when my children where little. This great location allows easy access to both Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios. Plus little ones can stay in their strollers for the boat ride between the Boardwalk and both of these theme parks.

As for the main pool with the Keister Coaster Slide, you have to walk down stairs or jump in. They will allow life jackets which you can pick up at the Community Hall located by the quiet pool. There is no charge for this. Plus Community Hall has lots of fun indoor activities for the kids.

I believe the small pool (located next to this main pool) does have a walk in feature but it is extremely shallow and is a great play area for little ones.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
