    Debra from CA Asked

Hi, What is there to do on board for young adults over the age of 18? My son is 19 and has grown up taking these cruises, but I want to be sure he will be entertained while his sister is at her club and when my husband and I have dinner at Palo. Thanks!

    Ahoy, Debra!
It's wonderful to have you back! I'm glad you asked this question because Disney Cruise Line does have a group for cruisers in their late teens to early 20s-the 1820 Society. If he's interested in participating, I definitely suggest attending the first event on embarkation day (check the cruise newsletter for details). The cruise staff will be there to break the ice and help plan activities for the sailing with input from the group. Activities could include trivia, games, meals and hanging out in the adult-only spaces on board. When he's not participating in group events, he can enjoy the sports deck, spa, fitness center, the Cove Cafe, Quiet Cove Pool, the entertainment district, karaoke, first-run movies, Bingo and more! (The spa and Bingo are offered for an additional fee). The ship is a floating destination, so he can stay as busy as he likes! He can keep up-to-date with everything offered each day through the Personal Navigator and the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app (free for download for Apple and Android devices). Also, all the clubs offer Open House hours each day when Guests of any age can check out the spaces. If he feels like hanging out in Vibe or any of the other youth spaces, he can check the newsletter for the designated times. This might be a fun activity to do with his sister!
Thank you again for continuing to use the Disney Parks Moms Panel!, Debra If you think of anything else, please write back!
