What are the black out dates for 2016. Planning a late vacation, dont wanna go on a bad day. Thanks for the help!

    Hi Elizabeth,

Thanks for dropping in to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. While there are some block out dates for certain Florida annual passholders during peak seasons, there are no block out dates for guests in general.

I believe you may be wondering which days are the most popular at Walt Disney World during the holiday season, and the block out dates for certain Florida resident passholders can give an indication of what days those are. The Florida resident annual pass I have, for example, is blocked from admission December 19 through January 2, which are among the busiest days of the year.

There are a few times during the holidays when the parks may prohibit more guests from entering because they are at capacity. This happens most often at Magic Kingdom on days such as Christmas and New Year's Eve.

I hope that answers your question, Elizabeth. As you are making your plans, please keep in mind that planning tools such as FastPass+ and advanced dining reservations are especially useful when you plan to visit at a busy time of year. I recommend deciding what's most important to your family -- rides, dining, tours, special events -- and making those plans first, then build the rest of your schedule around your priorities.

And don't hesitate to check back with us if we can help in any way.

    Enjoy your vacation!
