I am a bit confused regarding the rules for QS meal substitutions, specially in regards to substituting the dessert/drink for snack credits. Does it have to be done in the same transaction or can the snack credit be saved and redeemed at a later time

    Hi Becky!

Thanks for bringing this question about the Disney Dining Plan to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. The rules regarding the Quick-Service substitutions can be confusing, so I'm happy to help answer your question.

If you are using a Quick-Service meal credit for lunch or dinner, you will receive an entree, dessert and non-alcoholic beverage. As you know, the dessert and/or non-alcoholic beverage may be substituted for any item that is an eligible snack at that location. It's important to note that you have to do the substitution in same transaction; you are not able to save the snack and redeem it later.

I hope this helps with your planning, Becky. Please let me know if you have any additional questions about your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort!

    Wishing you many magical memories!
