I am a big fan of using my magic band for charging purposes, w/ a 1 and 3 yr old I find it convenient. With that said, we are visiting in Sept '17, can I still do that and use my Disney Rewards dollars to pay our bill when checking out of the resort?

    Welcome, Donna!

I love being a Chase Disney Visa® Cardholder and accruing our Disney Reward dollars to help cover expenses while vacationing at Walt Disney World® Resort! And like you, I want to be able to use my MagicBand for convenience.

Here's how to make the best of both worlds! Use your MagicBand to pay for your purchases, and when you're ready, stop by the front desk of your resort hotel lobby and let them know you want to pay down your balance. In addition to your Redemption Card, you can also pay down with any Disney Gift Cards you may have as well. The only other thing you'll need to do is make sure your MagicBand is set up for charging privileges by having a credit card linked to your account.

By using this technique, I did learn your resort will charge your account automatically at 4am after every third night of your stay for the charges you've incurred so far. Use that as a guide in helping you decide when to stop by the front desk.

I hope this helps, Donna! Please let me know if you should have any additional questions regarding the use of your Disney Reward Redemption Card.
