Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Cindy!
It's always a great time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. December is certainly no exception! Among the many incredible experiences there are to enjoy, who can ignore the festive
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party?!
In my experience, the crowds in December are usually quite manageable. That said, they typically pick up quite a bit around the middle of the month when school and holiday vacation time begins. Keep in mind that no matter what the crowd levels are, a good plan will help your trip stay right on track.
FastPass+ is just one way that can help.
Weather patterns around the country seem to be so unpredictable these days. The weather in Orlando and around Walt Disney World is certainly no exception, unfortunately. I have visited in December when the temperature was in the upper 80's (degrees fahrenheit) but I have also visited in December when jeans and a fleece jacket were necessary. Be sure to tune in to a weather site like the Weather Channel for the most up-to-date forecast in advance of your trip.
Feel free to write back with any additional questions, Cindy. Always happy to help!
Magically yours in 2018,
Jacqui
