Hello! There is a big age gap between our kids, they are 13 and 5. We were wondering if we could take a day and split up to different parks. Is that possible WITHOUT the park hopper option? Or do we have to stay together? Our 1st trip ever, so excited!!!

Hi Heather!!  Greetings to a fellow Georgian!!!

Congratulations on your first Walt Disney World Vacation!!  I can only imagine how excited you and your family must be!!!

Yes, your family can split up and go to different parks in the same day, but each person in your party will only be allowed to enter one park per day without the Park Hopper Option.  For example, this means that you could take your five year old to the Magic Kingdom for the day, while someone else in your party takes your 13 year old to Disney's Hollywood Studios for the day.  Keep in mind that you can take a mid-day break and relax/swim back at your hotel, but if you return to a theme park in the evening it would have to be the theme park you went to that morning.

Please let me know if you have any other questions!!  We are all gladly here to help!!!

    Have a magical trip!!
