Walt Disney World Halloween

Hello! Is it better to use a travel agency? If so which one is best?

Hello Keisha!  I see that you are planning to come to Walt Disney World in September, which is a fantastic time of year to visit!  The crowds are often lower, and the Magic Kingdom will be decked out with Mickey pumpkin wreaths.  I highly recommend Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party as a way to see all these BOO-tiful decorations!

Planning a trip can seem daunting, especially if this is your first visit. Using a travel agent who is an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner can make things easier for you, and they are usually veteran Walt Disney World guests themselves.  Agents can make your Advanced Dining Reservations 180 days prior to your arrival, allowing you to sleep in. They might also do all of your FastPass+ reservations for your trip and bookings such as Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.  Although I don't have any specific agencies to recommend to you, a quick internet search will provide you with plenty of choices.

However, planning a Walt Disney World trip yourself has become so much more convenient since the advent of My Disney Experience. This innovative planning tool helps you select and modify your party’s FastPass+ experiences, make Advanced Dining Reservations, and buy theme park tickets, all from the comfort of your couch!  I also use the mobile app when I'm in the parks to view my Disney PhotoPass photos, look up GPS-enabled maps for each park, and to place mobile orders at select quick service locations.  Download the app to your mobile device before your trip, and I promise it will be a valuable resource!

Whether you decide to use a travel agent or not, I know your vacation will be magical!

Hi, I'm Eean from Pennsylvania!  I may have an unusual name, but my passion for Disney is not unique.  It’s amazing how many people you can find who love talking about, "The Most Magical Place On Earth!"  I'm that mom who always has her ears perked at PTO meetings, in the grocery store aisle, or at middle school basketball games waiting for an opportunity to give someone a planning tip to help make their vacation even more magical.
