    Corey Asked

Would it be better for a 1st time trip to Disney to go in May for 9 days and my husband meet us there on day #3 or for us to all go together in June for the entire 9 days. What is the temp difference and line difference in early may as opposed to mid june

Hi, Corey!  Okay, so let's tackle the line part of the question first.  If you are going in early May, you are likely to miss any summer vacation crowds, Memorial Day weekend crowds, and all of the spring breakers.  It's one of the least busy times to go.

By mid-May, colleges are beginning to wrap up the spring semester, many southern schools are heading into summer break, and by the end of the month, even some other schools across the country are finishing for the year.  The crowds get bigger, the lines a little longer, and the resorts definitely busier.

So, if this is a crowd only discussion, May is definitely better.

With weather, it's a little hard to predict.  May is absolutely getting hot and the humidity is beginning to creep up.  The temperatures in May are only slightly lower than June, but you typically find the humidity gets worse as the summer wears on, so you should be a little better in May than in June.  You might still experience the daily afternoon thunder showers in May, but you'll definitely have them in June.

If the option were mine, I'd go with May.

I hope this helps with your decision making!
