Which is better for someone without kids: Movies resort or Music resort. Also, Movies preferred room or Music Standard. What's the difference between a standard room and a preferred room at either Movies or Music?

    Hi, Florence!

Ready for some great news? Either option is fantastic! Rooms at All-Star Movies or All-Star Music are identical in every way except for the theme. Regardless of which Value Resort you choose, all rooms are about 260 square feet. Each room will have two double beds with a table and chairs and one bathroom.

The difference between a "standard" and "preferred" room is simply location. The preferred rooms are located closer to the food court/lobby/bus area.  The standard rooms are a bit further away, but you will save a few dollars per night.

The one difference that All-Star Music offers would be the Family Suites. These are basically two guest rooms converted into a one bedroom suite, with a queen bed, and sleeper sofas for an additional four guests. These Family Suites also have a kitchenette with a microwave, mini-fridge, and coffee maker. A real bonus of these suites: two full bathrooms and two TV's - no fighting over the remote control!

Look through some pictures on the website and decide which theme looks like more fun for your family, and go for it! The resorts are right next door to each other so you can easily walk among all three resorts easily (Sports/Music/Movies) so you can actually enjoy all three!

Wishing you a magical stay at Walt Disney World!
